Resolved: Why are the reviews not considered advertising?

I paid for the ad-free version, and I still have the reviews on the right-hand column. Why is that not considered advertising? I really don't care or use many of the products featured, and it's really annoying to see.

So far, I'm less than thrilled with the changes here, and have spent less & less time here because of it.

I'm sorry to hear you are not pleased with the changes. I think if you give it some time to get used to everything you'll become more comfortable with it all. We're working to improve upon things and bring more features and functionality that we're excited about.

The product reviews are not ads. They are posted by the members and are not solicited postings. You will not see a product appear there that has not been generated into the feed by a member-posted review.

Currently it is not possible to provide you with the ability to customize your view so that you can disable whatever you might like to not see. But I will place that as a suggestion for possible development as a supporting member feature.
