Hospital or Not?

I'm asking here because there's more traffic than in Health & Healing. 

DD (3) went about 2.5 days w/o a bowel movement. We traveled all day yesterday and had to stop several times for her to vomit. I gave her a laxative today (not my first choice, but I was getting worried). She went to the bathroom twice. She just tried to go again, and couldn't. Her tummy is really distended. I don't mean a little bit; it's like a hard balloon. Should I take her to urgent care or the ER? Or should I just wait it out?

Go in.  Thats worth investigating.

Go in.  You might get seen quicker at urgent care, and if she needs care in the hospital they will call an ambulance, so that would get her there faster too, without a long ER wait.

Going 2.5 days with a bm isn't usually that bad but her distended abdomen is worrisome.  She may have a blockage.

Go to ER.

Thanks! She is better. She got sick after I posted, but she did go to the bathroom. We didn't end up going to the ER, and she seems to feel better now. Traveling really messes with her system.
