Advent Spiral

My DD had her Advent Spiral festival tonight.  It was so lovely.  The room was mostly dark except for a few candles.  The spiral was laid out on the floor with evergreens and had a candle burning in the middle of it.  Each child walked the spiral holding an apple with a candle in it, lit there candle and walked back out again placing their candle anywhere they liked on the spiral.  It was beautiful. Someone played the flute while we sang Advent songs until all the children had finished. I wish I could have taken photos!  Anyone else attend an Advent Spiral?

Not yet, but we're looking forward to it. :)  I have gone, in year's past, to a first and a second grade one. It is so beautiful.
