Tomorrow is the 55th Anniversary of the Montgomery Bus Boycott.  For those homeschooling Mamas looking for ideas here are two resources:

 

This is a K-2nd grade lesson plan. You could easily do the Rosa Parks bit this week and save the MLK Jr stuff for January.

If your kids never go on public transportation, you could actually ride the bus tomorrow.  Sit in the back... ask empathy questions... what would it feel like if you always had to sit in the back? Etc.
