yay for december.

i might not catch the first pp egg. i am having (what i think is) o pain on my left side. i dont have a tube on that side bc of a prior ectopic surgery. i did have a little pain on the right side but the left one takes my breath away. i dont have too many other symptoms unless you count my attitude and crying at sappy kids movies. :)

i havent had o pain since i was 15.

Yes, thank you Kami for taking care of this thread---it is so encouraging!

I just got my hormone balancing herbal mix in the mail and am eager to start and see what happens. We'll be traveling alot this month so I don't expect much to happen in terms of ovulation (still waiting for first PP egg) but at least it may help set the stage for January!

Thank you Kami for Starting a new thread for us..

I stopped temping. I don't think I am even close to oing or getting ppaf.. The provera didn't work and Zaviar is bfing more then before at night. I have no clue how to wean him off a little at night but I want to get him to bf only 1-3 times. I need sleep!!!! I guess I might just move to a not trying not avoiding status cause I hate not having anything to work with. But on happier news if my little one bfs past Sunday then he well be my longest nurser. I am 100% sure he well be loves bfing tooo much. On Sunday he well be 16 months old...

Am I the only one that has a 16 month old and still waiting for ppaf? I bought mama pads and I would really like to use them they are so soft...

Hi, just checking in. I *should* be o-ing Friday but we are just getting over a nasty flu so who knows. Pretty sure that I'm going to tempt next cycle as we think we casually try this week and next cycle before getting too serious in mid January. My cycles are still off and if I wasn't working I don't think AF would be here even in this very weak not looking like I'm actually o-ing form.

Hi everyone - I'm actually not nursing anymore, but still waiting for my ppaf (no af since...2006). Can I join you? I am sort of in limbo and hoping to catch the first egg, or at least figure out what's going on with my body. I'd always been regular, before my pregnancy & bf.

Subbing!

I am just patiently waiting to O for the first time since I conceived my ds 2+ years ago. I haven't reached that point yet, but have any of you done anything in the past to gently nudge your cycles to return? I really want to start TTC after March/April so if PPAF hasn't arrived by then I'd like to be able to give myself a push in the right direction.

Here's to a December full of BFPs!!

My DS is 14m today and no PPAF in sight. He still nurses often during the night and day. I'm not going to nudge him towards cutting down on BFing till at least 18m I think. I may try night weaning at that point. I'd really love to continue to nurse him through the next pg and even tandem nurse, so hopefully my AF will just return on her own in the next 6 months or so.

Hope to see some pretty BFPs this month!

Hi all!

I've been lurking on the November thread for the last week or so and figured I'd better introduce myself. I'm a 31 year old mama to one 17 month old nurseling. So far, no sign of AF or ovulation, and while we aren't in a huge rush for number 2, it would be nice to get started, as number 1 took over a year of TTC.

DD still nurses a lot, and I'm not ready to start limiting her nursing yet, although I'd sure like to reduce the night nursing a bit so I can get some sleep!

I'm planning to start temping again right away, and would love to try and catch the first pp eggie, but I'm certainly not counting on it! While I'm waiting I really need to concentrate on losing some weight and getting myself ready for a second pregnancy, so there's lots to do while I wait!

Updated List To Here

Welcome Gozal & Carlin .

Just checking in quick from the mcdonalds on he other end of town since it has a play area inside, should be fun backing dh's truck out of the parking spot i parked in.lol I survived the first morning waking up at 3:30am to make sure DH gets up and gets ready for work and to make his lunch. Thankfully Verizon is coming over tomorrow to install tv and internet so it will be easier to keep up.

Welcome - so many new people!

I ended up having to buy drugstore opk's today. I had looked at them the other night & decided they were too expensive, then couldn't find them cheaper. Of course the drugstore I went to to actually purchase them at didn't have them & I had to go to another store. Argh. I am not feeling so very positive about this cycle - it seems like things are just not coming together very easily for us (plus ds nursed for 4 hours the other day - totally weird but I'm worried it's going to totally throw this cycle off).

Anyway, I did the 1st opk of this pack today (a totally different brand then I usually use) & I think it is positive. I'm very surprised by this as I wasn't expecting to o until Monday - I was just monitoring to make sure I didn't miss the window. So we'll see what tomorrow will bring.

I bought my ovulation predictors at the dollar store... but, just to prove how cheap (ok, and poor) I am - I popped those suckers open, and with freshly cleaned scissors (and hands) I cut the test strip carefully down the middle lengthwise. They still work just fine, plus now they cost $1.25/2 or $0.63. Ha!

Hi There! I just got my PPAF this week at 11.5 months, I don't think I've been this excited for a period since I was 12. I'm hoping that I'm actually going to ovulate, and if so I'm hoping that we can catch it. I'm just starting to chart, although getting consistent temps is tricky for me while co-sleeping/bfing all night long. We're also moving internationally this month, so with the various stressors that includes I"m not sure how my cycle will be. SoCaliMommy, can you add me to Waiting to O? Thanks!

I would like to join you ladies. PPAF returned when DS2 was 18 months old. This month is month #24 TTC. We m/c'd at 11 weeks in May 2009 and 5 weeks in September this year. I am still breastfeeding DS2 2-3 times a day, at naps when he takes them, at bedtime, and once or twice a night. This month is the last month we can concieve and DH be home for the birth. After this month he will be on deployment for the birth. Today (Thursday) is cd 3.

Good luck to everyone here! I hope no one is here for long!
