Severe PMS and Breastfeeding

Thread Starter

I think this has been addressed in this forum before several years ago, but I wanted to start a new thread in case people have new ideas or suggestions. I get really intense PMS--no physical symptoms just a lot of anger and frustration.  It's actually becoming problematic because I am blowing up at everyone and even threw something this past weekend (embarrassing). It's not until I start to bleed that I feel better (it's usually two or three days before that I feel the worst) and then I think, "oh that's what that was."  I know I need to make some dietary changes, but am wondering if there are any natural treatments that I can take while breastfeeding.

Thanks ladies,

Laura

i tried diet changes, adding in fish oils, b vits, several different herbs...nothing helped much until i got on zoloft.  i had horrible pmd before i got pg, so i know it's a combo of that and ppd.  i feel much better now and am on a really low dose of zoloft.
