Haven't posted in a long while, but now I'm back and asking for h.e.l.p.
I've been at ease with the whole non-vax issue for several years now - ds just turned 5. However, my parents HATE the fact that he isn't vaxxed. Now my dad has started in with trying to guilt me into getting the pertussis vax. It's to the point that I don't even want to talk to him at all. His basic argument is that whooping cough is now an epidemic and CA and working its way to other states. He had it as a child and almost died as a toddler (this would've been in the early 40's). From everything I've read pertussis is very dangerous in infants 6 mo and younger. Nevertheless, my dad will not stop trying to make me feel horrible about this and the last thing he said to me was "well, I hope you're not sorry" ![]()

Here's my concern, I realize it's on the upswing and I really do want to be prepared for it but I'm not sure what to do. I've read previous threads that mention SA - to bowel tolerance. So I'm ordering this tomorrow from Bronson. Is this something that you would give on a daily basis too for general health? I guess I just need to know that others have gone through this and that it can be managed proactively if your child does get it.Â

This is basically what I've been doing to keep my ds healthy...does it look ok, anything I can add/delete in your opinion?Â
