Would you leave a school you love to get away from a toxic family? - Page 2

I suspect that any school your child attends will have at least 1 family that you don't like.

I think you need to be honest with your dd and explain some things to her. Changing her school because you don't care for her choice of friends is unreasonable. You could opt to really parent her through this so she can learn from this experience rather attempting to change the situation.

I'm reading Little Girls Can Be Mean and some of the examples in the book are similar to your situation, you might find it helpful.

I have been through a very similar situation which at the time was quite distressing. I can say that my daughter began to naturally pull away from the other girl after a while, and though this was difficult for the other family, it worked out in the end. The other family eventually moved because they felt that no one was accepting of them for various reasons. So our situation resolved itself. I wanted to send you at least a commiseration and some understanding!
