Postpartum Weight Loss- December. - Page 3

Amanda - have fun on your trip! If you have time before you go, please update me! 135.4

This is what I weighed in at on WW last night. (This morning, I could hardly believe what i saw on the scale.. 132.3!! WTF

I find Im honestly not believing the low numbers, because I still feel really chubby somehow! Is this just what happens when you lose weight? You just demand that  you lose more and more? Or is it because I had a baby 9 months ago, and even though I weigh less than ever now, I really am still flabby?

hmmm....

Thank you SpuglyRoo!

Mandica-are you toning? Even when I was underweight I felt flabby from the stretched skin from pregnancy. It takes a lot of work to tone that up.

poorlittlefish- Slow and steady DOES win the race. I read something on Dr. Sears' website about losing only 1 lb a week because of the toxins and heavy metal stored in our fat that get released faster with fast weight loss-especially while bf. Reading that made me ok with my slow (well, nonexistent right now) loss this time.

Ahh, I know I have so many people to update. I will DEFINITELY do that first thing tomorrow. DH needs the computer.

I just wanted to get on here quick and post another before/now pic. I'd like to start toning up a bit, because as you can see, my stomach needs a bit of work..For fun (ha!), I decided to make a comparison picture of me 9 months postpartum with my DS (left) and 9 months postpartum with my DD.  (right). Ironically enough I am wearing the same sweater, just in different colors. Haha.

Yes, Needless to say, I am quite pleased. For now.

Ladies, post pictures. I'd love to see the progress we are all making!

I would be curious what you are eating. Green leafy veggies and oatmeal (though not together, yuck!) are both helpful in increasing milk supply. Growth spurts are typically at about 6-8 weeks and again at about 3 months so she could be haveing one now. Either way you obviously know that something is off. Keep wathcing what you are eating and compare to what you ate while on WW. Good luck!

As for me I am frustrated. I keep bouncing back and forth between 176-178. This is unusual for me. I always weigh 1st thing in the morning before I eat or drink so my weight typically stays pretty consistent. The only thing I can think of is that I have not been drinking enough water so I think it goes up when I am dehydrating.

Not the best pictures, but 9 months and 40 pounds later....

Kitty - I have been exercising quite a bit lately, but maybe i need to start doing pilates videos daily or something...

Mandica, you look awesome! You should be very proud of youself.

Thanks ladies!

I think it maybe stress related too. I'm feeling overwhelmed with two small babes (16 mo apart) and the holidays so I think that's more of the issue. She is growing too. It's gotten a little better in the last days so I'm hoping we're all leveling out. If I watch everything I eat I do see a drop (I pump once in the evening and once in the morning) in what I can pump and she wants to nurse lots more.

I didn't loose a thing no matter how hard I tried until my older daughter started solids. I hope that's doesn't happen this time!

I appreciate all your help!!

Amanda, I don't know how I missed your pics...you look great! And super slim! If I were you, I would not worry about those last few pounds.

Okay, I think I got everyone updated!

In less than 12 hours I will be on a plane to California. Wish me luck that I will be able to stay accountable! I'm seriously dreading it! When I was there in August, I felt so great, because it was the first time I was seeing family after losing like 50lbs. Since August, I have only lost an additional 10 or so pounds (I KNOW only 10lbs in 4 and a half months, ugh!), so I won't have that extra confidence that comes along with losing the initial weight, kwim? Anyway, I hope you all have a great holiday with your families, and I'll check in when I get back! Remember, the January thread is just around the corner, so stick with it- so I don't have to ADD 10lbs to all of our "current weight" lists haha. :)

oh p.s. Mandica where do you live? You look JUST in one of my classes from like 3 years ago haha.
