Religion and Breastfeeding

Hi Mamas,

 

I'm doing a paper for degree about Religion and Breastfeeding and I was wondering if anyone has specific religious (or cultural) norms regarding breastfeeding that they practice. I'm interested in every religion.  It would be much appreciated! love.gif

p.s. This is not meant to start any sort of religious debate.  If it does I will get rid of the post.

I don't have any info for you, but it occurs to me you might try cross-posting in the spirituality or religious studies forums. There are many very knowledgeable posters there who may not be breastfeeding at the moment and thus may not frequent this forum...
