Should I get the X large Rainbow tunnel or the Elements Set?

I would like to get one or the other. I would like to get the large elements set but I am worried that it is too small. It is for my 3 year old ds.

You are talking about the Grim & Spiel ones? Get the "large" version of the elements set. AWESOME play. We collected them after DS turned 2 and they are played with every single day. I'd probably gift them once a quater. It was always cool to get a new part. Which there were other elements to add... The size will be fine and has held up to a large play. DH stepped on one of the pieces but it was easily repaired.

 

I've been trying to track down a reasonably priced xtra-large version myself but they are out of stock everywhere.

We have both and I actually prefer the XL rainbow, though I love both.  My kids play with all of them, but seem to gravitate toward the rainbow more, and I just...like it.
