Chiro?

I have a 12 month daughter. For the last 2 months, she has had mega-bouts of inconsolable crying. I went to a chiro today because of reccs from MDC. He said he really thinks he can help and did some adjustments today. How long does it take for it to "work"? She is having a great day today. No crying. Fluke? or is it possibly working after just one adjustment?

You can see improvement like that after one visit.  DS nursed significantly better after his first chiro visit.  He relapsed a bit and needed a second, but at other times, when he was teething and not sleeping well, just one visit would be enough.  With an ongoing issue like you're trying to fix, I'd think continuing the series that the doc suggests is prudent, but I don't think a good response like you've seen is strange.

this.  it's likely you'll need to go back because adjustments often don't hold on the first try-but that doesn't minimize the success!  That's wonderful and one of the reasons I just love chiropractic.

Oh, I plan on going back. My insurance will cover 8 sessions without any referrals, so I will see what I can do after that if need be. But I was just wondering if it might have been a fluke! lol. SOOOO happy she is feeling better.
