Burned Hard by Facebook (and update of previous post from August)

I have to edit because it was too long.  Wondering if anyone has been burned by Facebook's disregard for privacy.  I realize that we all sign up and click off on certain rights, but it's a loose cannon I can no longer trust.  I feel very uncomfortable seeing my friends posts on my NON-friends statuses, that is just not right.  I have been very hurt by this having been done to me.

That means that the people posting those status updates have their privacy settings set loosely.  There is a setting called "friends of friends," and if your friends comment on a post like that, it will show up on your news feed.  This really isn't an Evil Facebook issue, it's about who has their privacy settings on "Friends Only" or not.  I'm not sure why you feel burned by that, but if a friend of yours is posting something that hurts you and doesn't realize you can see it, it's really time to think seriously about that friendship.    If I'm understanding your post right!
