Best prices for water color paper

Where can I find bulk water color paper at good prices?

Real water color paper for real art is expensive!!  For daily watercolor fun painting projects for my 3&5 year olds, we use plain white printer paper.  Works wonders and is cheap.  Yesterday I found a clearance sale at Office Depot for 11X14 manila art paper.  Also white construction paper works well.

 

I would only buy the good stuff if I was gifting some kid art to my mom or something.

I bought ours at Hobby Lobby.  It's this stuff.  Not specifically for watercolors but it works great.

I was wondering the same thing about this. I've been wanting some watercolor paper for some projects I had in mind. Thanks for the link suzukibeane... that does seem like a great bargain.

in Maplewood has some.

And Dick Blick (there is one in Roseville) has a discount card that you can get if you are a homeschooler and they send you all kinds of coupons like Joann's or Hancock's Fabrics.

Oh...that may be my best bet. smile.gif It would be nice to be able to get local and at a good price.

I bought the canson biggie pack last time from dickblick online. But,I think they stopped making it. They sell it in a pack now, but it is still lighter blue on the cover. It is great.
