I love our maclaren stroller, it is truly a lightweight stroller and is my preferred one.  However with this baby we also ended up getting a Kolcraft contours because I knew that for the first few months I would be using the baby bucket until I recovered and was able to use my sling.

I like the contours my only complaint is size.  It is larger (compared to the maclaren) and dosent turn on a dime like that one.  But it does a great job on sidewalks, grass, uneven pavement due to its tires. It is a wider stroller so I have found some trouble in stores that have narrow aisles or lots of displays.  The understorage is a lot although the basket itself isnt giant (height wise) it is wide and due to how high the seat sits you are able to really pile things in.  we usually throws all our bags down there plus some.  I also love that I can use starting from NB on up and use it either with a baby bucket (attachemnt included) or with the seat which can face out or in.  Which is usually a feature on much higher end strollers.  It can recline pretty far back so my NB is basically sitting in a "cradle" and can be tilted upwards as she gets older into a full upright position.  The stroller runs about $150 but I was able to get it at babiesrus using their 20% coupon so it was pretty comparable to other strollers we were looking at.
