Ds' kindy teacher "slandered" him in front of an audience of 60. - Page 2

So the K teacher has impulse control? Pretty sad situation given that the children she is entrusted with have impulse control(which is NORMAL for their age). I would let the administration know, but it won't change things.Worse teachers have kept their jobs. She will go on for years yelling at kids, and then apologizing for her impulse control issues. As a parent I would want to avoid this type of teacher. If there is an online review for teachers in your area I would list this.

OP, I'm glad that you got an apology from your colleague. Hopefully that will help keep the working relationship cordial. And really, you deserved one. I'm no fan of enumerating a teacher's perceived failings to a child in his/her class, or allowing children to shift blame when they've made mistakes, but that doesn't mean you're not supposed to notice and speak up when the education professional in charge of your child is not acting professionally.
