do we really need to buy the OM fairy tales, and crafts books? We could find the fairy tales on our own, and thinking up appropriate crafts wouldn't be too hard. But, is it worth it to buy these books instead?

I think so, a huge part of O.M. are the fairytales and the crafts. I think that the crafts make up much of the curriculum. We've been having fun with it but realized that we needed to add some more. Have fun and good luck! :)
