Oh, we have ages by our names! I'm 28, if you care to put it.

Thanks for starting the new thread!  If you care to add it, I'm 24.

Name: Mackenzie
Date: 12/4
Chart: Not charting
Where are you in your cycle: CD30 (2 days late for AF)
Appointments: None, unless this AF remains MIA
Symptoms if they apply: incredibly sore boobs, and really good mood (or I guess, lack of a crappy mood?)
Testing: Tested at 10 dpo, BFN.  Tested this morning, BFN.

Thoughts: I'm a little sad that I got a BFN this morning, but I'm actually not all that torn up about it.  I thought I would be more so.  Truly I'm just a little confused.  I'm one of those super-regular people when it comes to cycles.  Always get AF on day 28 of the previous cycle, twice on day 27, and once on day 29 (many moons ago lol).  I mean I know it's completely reasonable for a period to be a few days late, especially if I O'd late, I guess I'm just not used to it.  Plus my boobs hurt SO BADLY.  So, I'll keep you guys updated, but for now it looks like I'm in a holding pattern.

When CD1 finally rolls around for me (if it does...), then I have an arsenal of stuff waiting for me to try.  This will be cycle #5 coming up, and I'm ready to get serious: I ordered OPKs, HPTs, Preseed and more prenatal vitamins on the internet.  So I am READY for you, next cycle!  (Insert "game face")

I also just noticed that my age isn't correct either. I am actually 26! Thanks

Also could someone help me link my chart to the see my chart icon. I thought I knew how to do it but its not working. Any help appreciated :)

So while I am in my first 2ww I just don't know what to do with myself! I am pretty sure I have annoyed my DH to the point of insanity with baby talk. I just can't help it. I tell myself I will not chatter on about what cycle day I'm on, my luteal phase, or any other topic he has no idea about, and I'm sure doesn't care to know about! lol Do you ladies bother your partners as much as I am? How do you keep yourself busy from thinking about it 24/7? I am hoping it is just because it is my first cycle ttc, and next month I won't be as crazy! nut.gif I just did not think I would be like this when ttc.

I don't think that it gets much easier, haha, sorry about that! I hope that you don't have too many TWW though, maybe you will just have to drive your DH batty for one month.

I don't talk about it much with DH (he would gloss over completely), but I did try to talk about it with my sister. I finally found all of the TTC threads I could handle on MDC and leave her alone. She wasn't helpful to talk with anyway.

Jazzy: That would be nice, and I'm sure he would like that too. We will see though. I am wanting to wait till Friday to test, but I have a feeling it will be Thursday. So we will find out soon enough if I have to go through another TWW.

Lavatea: That is what I am trying to do. I talk to my sis sometimes, she is SOOO excited that we are trying but all she wants to know is when I'm pregnant. She's not interested in anything else. She just looks at me like, what the heck are you talking about? I will just have to stalk these boards to keep me busy!

I don't even want to say how long we've been trying and, believe me, in my case the obsession has only gotten worse with each passing month.  I am currently in the LONGEST TWW EVER. I'm 6 DPUIU and couldn't even cheat and POAS if I wanted since I did the HCG trigger.  I have to preface everything I say to DH with "I promise I'm not obsessing, but..." I think at this point he could probably tell you anything you could possibly want to know about the process of TTC - and not because he's interested in it.  He simply has no choice but to listen to me!

I could have sworn I replied but it looks like it didn't show.  I'm back after a month break due to DH traveling.  Currently on CD3 and planning to use an ovulation detector kit this month.

I meant to ask but I remember that another person here is also very athletic.  I run about 15 miles a week, teach 7 Pilates classes per week and I take a few dance classes.  In your opinions is this too much for TTC?

Gale: Yeah I have a feeling the obsessing for me probably won't get any better as the months go on. And its pretty bad because my husband is already telling me to STOP obsessing! I hope you get a sticky bean this month and you don't have to obsess anymore :) Keep us updated!

kara- we have been trying but not trying for about 6 mos, then this month decided to really try since we can't try again until April, let me tell you, I didn't think 2 weeks could last so long! Im only 3 DPO and it is all I think about 24 hrs a day 7 days a week. I think I threw off my temp this morning b/c I woke up and just kept tossing and turning thinking about it. My DH's eyes glaze over too! I pray for us both that this 2ww is the last!

Tutu- I'm not sure that is too much exercise, as long as you are not underweight. I know many women who do 'moderate' exercise through their whole pregnancy, but someone else may be able to clarify what is too much when TTC.

AFM- 3DPO, possibly more since I haven't really been  charting my temp so I guessed when I O'd on FF. I have a little brown in CM today, not sure if that is ovulation bleeding or what... it wasn't anything significant, just barely tinged brown. Testing starting Saturday as long as my IC arrive!

I don't know how much exercise is too much, but if you don't have enough body fat it could interfere with TTC.

tutucrazy:

I am definitely on the athletic side. All this summer I biked with my LO (20+ miles at a time) and my brother and I did our first Century ride (100 miles) plus I did things like Insanity and P90X, other strength workout dvds etc.

I am actually just now looking more into the fact that maybe I exercise enough that it may be a difficulty in TTC. "Moderate" exercise is what I keep hearing but really I am not sure i know what that means! haha. Anyway. I have scaled bake on my exercise routine and am paying much more attention to how much I am eating, that I am eating enough, mostly because I do think that my body fat percentage is probably too low, I did read that even if your periods come on a regular basis that doesn't mean that you aren't messing with your hormones, especially progesterone which you need for implantation.... anyway, no real help here except that I did talk to a midwife recently and she has said I should scale back. I am not sure what that would mean for you either but if you don't have a super low body fat percentage (which I am assuming you probably have a fairly low amount) then I think it is ok but for those of us with low body fat I think that we have to ease up and take in a few more calories.
