Resolved: Shifting page

As I'm replying to a message (or just viewing a long message), the screen shifts up and down without any mouse interaction from me.  That is, I'll be typing and the window scrolls down and I can't see where I'm typing.  I'll wait a minute and it will scroll back to where my cursor is.  I will not have touched my mouse or keyboard.

I know what is doing it.  It's those ads or reviews or announcements or whatever they are that are refreshing on the right side of the page.  Can I turn those off?

Is this something new occurring or has it been like this from the very beginning? Please provide your browser and version and your operating system and version so we can check into this further.

The reviews feature in the side bar is not something you can optionally remove from your view. But it should not be causing the behavior you have described either. So we'll look into it and get it resolved.

It happens to me too.. I'm using firefox 3.6.12. on an hp netbook.... although I can't stand the reviews bar anyway haha.. the netbook is so small as it is that they just clutter up the page.  I wish there were a link to reviews alone rather than their being on every page even where they aren't relevant.

the scrolling thing doesn't happen all the time though... so far only a couple times.  annoying but I think every time would make me want to throw something ha!

We removed the inline messaging box as we think that night have been the cause. Are you still seeing the behavior you reported?
