The request though, or the mention was made before I went to L&D, so at 34 weeks, 2 weeks after I had my 32 week u/s, they told me I would need one by 36 weeks and more until I deliver. At 35 weeks, I went into L&D, and then I wasn't crazy about my treatment during that time, so at that point I started looking at other providers. So my original post was made like 2 weeks ago, and around that time I started thinking maybe this  midwife (in a group of about 6) was trying to risk me out of a vbac for whatever reason. She is the one that gave me the stat that 5% of women over the age of 40 have a stillborn from low fluid. I am not 40 though winky.gif

There are many midwives in the area,  they are mostly hospital based, but I think I found one on a doula's recommendation that will not be so worrisome with all the u/s. And funny thing...they work at a high risk hospital, so the doula said they deal with high, high risk so often that if someone has no health issues, they treat them as low risk. So I am meeting with them on Monday and hoping they will be a little more hands off then the current group I am seeing. And they are supportive of a vbac, so vbac and 40 is not a concern to them since I have no other issues related to my age like GD, high blood pressure, or anything other issues. So I am crossing my fingers things go well fingersx.gif and they will take me as a patient this late.
