Lost my mucus plug!! *Update- Baby is here!*

Since most of you ladies have already had your babies I thought I would turn to you for your mucus plug expertise. I was induced with DD at 41w4d, so I missed out on this part of birth. I am now 40w4d and lost my mucus plug this morning. How soon after losing your plug can labor start? I think I've heard it really varies. Thanks for your responses and it has been wonderful seeing pictures of everyones' adorable babies. I am excited that I finally might get one too!

Update:

12 hours later my water broke, and 4 hours after that I was holding the little guy!

I had Molly less than 3 hours after mine plopped out. I never lose mine until active labor which was weird as I lost my plug first this time.

Hang in there!  It's worth the wait, and I know it's hard.  I've had two post-EDD kiddos;  some days it feels like it'll never happen but believe me, you're getting closer and closer to baby time! 

Anyhow, with #1 I never noticed a mucous plug.  #2 was born 5 days after losing the plug, and #3 was born about 20 hours after losing the plug.  So yep, in my experience it really varies.

I only noticed losing mine with 2 of my children and it was with the bloody show while I was in the early labor.

Many hugs being post date. I was "overdue" with all 4 of my babies (10 days, 6 days, 10 days, and 5 days). It's so hard!
