Wooden Dollhouse: Where to find "Large" Furniture?

We were just given a nice sturdy old wooden dollhouse, but without any furniture or people. I've been looking on ebay to try to at least get a "starter set" for my children to play with it, but the furniture seems to be quite pricey, AND they seem too small for this house- like the proportions would be off. Do kids even pay attention to that sort of thing, and does anyone know where to find the best value for largish wooden dollhouse furniture (sorry, I really can't make anything myself...) Thank you.

Have you checked out Etsy? I love the Alchemy feature on Etsy because if you don't happen to see anything that strikes your fancy, you can put out a request, what you are willing to pay, and folks will contact you with bids.

What do you mean by large?  Barbie doll size furniture, maybe?  Play Wonder makes wooden Barbie sized furniture.  Try googling "wooden furniture for fashion dolls" to find more that size.

Thnaks for the links. No, not as large as barbi- but the (plastic) dolls that were given with the house are about 5 - 6 inches tall. The wooden dolls and furniture that I've seen by plan toys, etc seem t be a lot smaller than that. The barbi furniture looks to big, though....
