I thought about putting this in Birth Trauma, but I honestly don't feel traumatized, just bewildered.

I was wondering if anyone else was diagnosed with this and if so, how your recovery was. Thanks!

My sister had it. She had another baby about a year and a half later (although doctors had advised her she shouldn't get pregnant again). She and baby were both fine, although they did a scheduled c-section at 36 weeks to try and avoid the pre-e issues she'd had the first time (and presumably then avoid the issues she had afterwards, too). While I wouldn't consider her to be "healthy", I'm pretty sure she's had her heart checked and has been told it's fine now...

Thanks! One good thing that has come out of this is that I have met an amazing network of women who have survived this disease,
