While I wouldn't say the my kids and I are healed, even with a stellar diet, classical homeopathy certainly allows us to eat a greater variety of food, with fewer reactions.  I highly recommend it.  It just makes our systems stronger, and opens our detox pathways, so they don't manifest so much as allergies.  As a bonus, so much of our emotional issues are cleared up as well, and we're all more mellow.

this.  and I wont' say that homeopathy alone did it.  We also used dietary elimination for the biggies along with targeted supplementation and bodywork.  But yes.  The difference is phenomenal and has made believers of many people who watched our journey.

I can also say that homeopathy has stopped some pretty significant reactions on a dime so it's been great for our family in that regard too.

I won't say they're healed, but they are more balanced, robust and far stronger than they were.

I have a question about the remedy.  Was it you or your child's constitutional remedy?  or was it specific for food allergies? 

I can understand having a non-constitutional remedy for reactions.

For someone who has a constitutional remedy , is there an added remedy for allergies?

you can always use things like histaminum or apis for an acute reaction.  In our case it was the constitutional at the time (which had a lot of inflammatory, over-reactive tendencies built in.) I would always try (in non-emergent situations) the current remedy if you are seeing a classical prescriber.   IF the constitutional remedy works, stick with it.  If the person is highly reactive it's like that it's a part of the remedy picture anyway.
