It's finals! (or thereabouts...) Countdown to Winter Break...

I'm in my last week, so I'm sure a lot of other student mamas are there. We can make it through! Am I the only one literally counting the days till when I get a mini break. Maybe I'll finally get the laundry done...

We teachers are counting too! Just 8 more days with students and I get two weeks off. Hooray!

Seven more days, two finals (one terrifying take home quant final, one easy essay final), two papers (one 7 page, one 20 page), editing a massive group project, evaluating a peer's 20 page paper...and then...and then...I get a vacation that will literally be longer than my maternity leave!

Let's see, I turned in a paper yesterday.  I turn in another one tomorrow and have a group presentation in same class.  Have a peer review due on Friday. 

 

Next week two finals, one is online & open book and the other traditional. 

 

I am very much looking forward to my 5 weeks off.  I didn't take an intersession class this time.

I had a final for my health/fitness class on Monday, my final clinical for my nurse's aide class yesterday, and my final exam for that class today.  I sold my textbooks back to the campus bookstore this morning... and now I just have an essay to write before midnight for my biomedical ethics class.  I'll have a 6 week break from school starting tomorrow.  So excited; maybe my house will get cleaned.  LOL!

My last final is Friday, I'm having trouble focusing (judging by the fact that I am on here orngtongue.gif) and my house got much cleaner today. I even baked. Okay, I'm going back to study statistics for my hopefully last college math final ever. From now till the end it's all nursing classes unless I take an elective. I cannot wait for a break, maybe I'll get to sleep in! If only...

Sweet jesus, finals week and my kid is sick. Did I mention I'm a single mom? My best friend (Ds's godmother) is coming over this afternoon to watch him so I can get some work done. Fortunately, he doesn't seem to be very sick. His temp spiked to 101 last night but it's normal now, so hopefully he can go back to daycare tomorrow. 

Fun times.

I've got one small paper to write, one concert to attend, 1 written assignment, 1 written final, one practical final, and scariest of all, my piano jury.  I can't wait for it to be over so I can really start enjoying Christmas time!

Two more days, so close, so close.  I can't wait to have evenings free for a few weeks.  Maybe we can go to the movies or something equally shocking.
