DS is 11 days old and has a cold :( He had a really hard time breathing last night and has been congested all day. We went to the Dr, and he said not to lay him flat to sleep. He suggested having him sleep in the carseat or the swing. I couldn't imagine putting him in the carseat to sleep, and we don't have a swing. We do have a newborn chair that he sits in sometimes when I am in the kitchen and he seems to like it, but I just couldn't imagine putting him in it to sleep at night. We have always coslept with our babies, and I don't know how to make DS comfortable and able to breath all night. I just don't feel safe having him upright on my chest and sleeping that way. I worry that his head could slip or slide. Any suggestions? TIA
