Confirmation U/S today - nervous!

I will have my 2nd u/s today which will confirm if I am indeed pg with twins. I am a nervous wreck! Yesterday evening I cried thinking that I would be completely unable to deal with 4 (morning sickness is not helping since it makes me feel completely incompetent).

Secretly I am hoping for only one.

Only one baby! Big cute blob just the right size. I was so relieved. I was so worried that I would have to only nurse, never sleep again and have no time for my other kids. But one sounds like a breeze now. There was no empty sack or remains of what we thought was another heart beat. My doctor had no explanation what happened since we all saw the second h/b.

Anyway, I am happy with the outcome!

Congrats! I've always breathed a small sigh of relief that my kids were all singles. Twins would probably be a lot of fun, but it scares me!

congrats. i always worry about twins too. i think they must be fun and must be special but i can't see how a mother of twins manages to get any sleep.

First question my DH asked at our first ultrasound was, "There's only one right?"   We both were a bit afraid about multiples (me carrying them, him paying for them!).   Congrats to all the mamas seeing their beans on the screen (or hearing heartbeats, etc)!

Congrats mama! I have big twin worries, my hubby is a twin (and has them all over his side of the family) and I have twins on my side of the family as well and we were on fertility meds. Our first u/s didnt show us anything but a yolk sac so im going to assume there is only one :)
