Diarrhea and green poo AFTER removing dairy?

DD1 was off wheat until she was 19 months and then seemed fine (it was a mild reaction to begin with).  She has been eating well balanced meals since then.  I took dairy and gluten out of her diet a week ago today because of some serious eczema.  She has had diarrhea off and on since  then and today her poo was very green (and watery).  What gives?

I have also removed it from my diet since she is nursing and I also think DD2 has a dairy sensitivity (also eczema and doesn't poo very often).

I would think about what you are replacing the dairy with.  What are you eating that is new, or eating more of?

That has happened to our family.

I'd also think that either something increased in amount, either a dairy sub or a gluten sub, or possibly a coincidental virus, but I'd suspect the former more.

We actually have not changed her diet that much.  She doesn't really eat a ton of either.  We are doing rice milk, but she has very little of that and not really any soy.  We are doing more raisins and almonds (her snack to sub for cheese).  We are doing more meat as a family (not as a substitution, but just increasing it in general).

As for a virus, she has no fever at all.  I was thinking it must be something along those lines since she has had diarrhea and some crankiness, but no fever and it has been a week of loose stool.

Raisins really mess with my 17mo's poop. It gets watery and mucousy, with lots of undigested food, for a few days

Yep, raisins (and dried cranberries) also cause gross poo for my DD. I'd stop the raisins and see what happens.
