Booster suggestions

We are trading in our Commander on Friday and getting a van joy.gif  My 6yo is currently in a Radian, but we are giving that seat to our 3yo and putting our 6yo in a booster.  She is fine weight wise for one and is very mature and understands that she needs to sit properly in it.

Ok, so now which booster.  I need this by Friday, so I need to be able to pick it up at Target or TRU.  Which is the best one that I can purchase at one of those places?  I want one that is strictly a booster.

Thanks!

We love our Graco Turbobooster. We have a high-back that converts to a backless later on. My DD1 is also six, and she fits well in it. I've been satisfied with what I've read about it, safety-wise. It's very easy to use. And DD1 loves it because it came in a few different patterns, and she was able to pick the pink girly-girl one.

Subbing, dd is almost 5 and is ready for a new carseat - a high back booster. She has nearly outgrown her harness and she is requesting to use a seatbelt, so we're trying to figure out what booster will be best.

We like our Graco Turbobooster as well.  Although I know Target and BRU carry them at some locations, or local stores didn't have either of them (except on girlie style and I have a ds). But your local stores might have better choices than ours.

The TB is a great seat annd nice and inexpensive and easy to find.  I have used them for years but recently I got a clek (olli or ozzi?, I always confuse them) and love it bc it stays LATCHed.  If you will be driving younger kids around while your 6yo is in school or elsewhere, you have to remember to buckle in the empty booster.  Just my 2 cents  :)

Thanks.  My Target had the Turbo Booster, so I got that.  Also, thanks for the heads up about buckling it in when not in use thumb.gif

Make sure you screw the armrests in securely. It's easy to overlook that part-- if they're not screwed in, the armrests won't hold on in a crash, and they're what holds the lap belt in place.
