Ah! Help - I need my voice back!

I'm singing this weekend and also in a couple weeks but seem to be losing my voice!  It's more of a dry spot in the back of my throat.  I'm drinking water, tea, etc.  A long time ago someone had me use an all natural spray that seemed to work when I had lost my voice.  Anyone know what that might have been?  Should I try honey?  Ahh!!  I need to be practicing but don't want to kill my voice into oblivion!

you could try honey for sure.  do you know why you lost it?  Have you been sick, or is this something different?  Is your throat sore?  Does it hurt to try to talk?  Did it happen suddenly?  Is it a result of overuse? 

Have you ever used slippery elm?  My aunt it an opera singer and swears by it for this purpose.

Homeopathy could help too!

I've used Arum Triphyllum for vocal fatigue.  As well as the standard advice - steaming, staying hydrated, vocal rest...

I have a concert tomorrow night and just started coming down with the cold that my whole family has   Just praying that I will have a voice by tomorrow night.  Tis the season!
