Homemade gift for Daddy

I really like for my kiddos to make gifts for Daddy (DH) rather than buying anything. It means more plus its cheaper.  But I'm not an overly crafy mama and I've pretty much stretched my knowledge to the max. And my oldest is only 4...... Here's part of the problem: My DH is a chef and works in a kitchen so he doesn't have any personal "spaces" at work to take things. So everything we'd make would have to be something that would be left at home. So no pic frames or mugs-esp since he doesn't drink coffee anyway. And I can't sew. We've decorated an apron and made clay handprints. I'm at a loss! Any ideas??!

Why cant you get the dollar picture frames and the let the kids decorate them and have your DH display them at home?  Not everything has to go to the office?  You can also drink way more than coffee from a mug.
