Shane Claiborne's "Irresistible Revolution" and Jen Hatmaker's "Interrupted" -- anyone????

Has anyone read these?

I finished Jen's book yesterday, and I started Shane's book today.

I'm struggling with the truth of these books and how to figure out that truth in my own life....my own decidedly domestic, early childhood-centered, middle class life.

Anyone else?

I loved loved loved Irresistible Revolution- primarily because I did grow up in a safe, suburban life, and have come to see the downsides to it. For me, the take-away was, not everyone is called to do what Shane is doing, but we are called to examine where we are and what we are doing, and perhaps move in that direction, to make ourselves and our children aware of the world outside our comfortable bubble.

I haven't read Interrupted- I'll have to look into it!
