I don't know if it's normal or not, but my dd (also 4.5) also does this. She will script out what I am supposed to say when we play or just in general, for example "I'll be the princess mama, you say "insert script here" and then I'll say "insert script here" ". She will also recite back conversations she hears or has during the day with her friends.

Sounds normal to me.  Ds used to do that sort of thing quite a bit:-)  I think with things like Asperger's, it isn't that any of the things the kids do aren't normal, it's that the kids do them in a more extreme way, more prolonged and more focused.

It's completely normal!  My three kids (ages 9, 7, and 5) play like this all the time.  I usually gently remind them not to be bossy to each other when they use language like "Now you have to say _____"  I try to encourage them to let each other come up with their own lines to the 'plays' so they can all have turns being the writer for their own character ;)
