Is your toddler a nudist?

Mine is.  He decided to potty learn about a month ago and since then has decided that he doesn't like clothes.  It's 29 degrees outside and 67 inside.  He's running around naked.  When I do tackle him and wrestle clothes on him, he peels them off in less than a minute.

My almost 3yo is a nudist :) He only puts clothes on to go outside or leave the house. If we go to someone else's house there is no guarantee his clothes will stay on. Thankfully most of my friends/family are understanding and just get over the naked butt running around. He sleeps naked most every night (unless he falls asleep with clothes on) and just snuggles up under his covers.

I wish I could do it half as often as he does. If I could walk around in panties all day I so would!!

My toddler's a nudist too, and she isn't even potty learning. :lol:  We keep the house at 67, but if she wants to be nude (inside only) I don't care....she's certainly running around enough to be warm. :lol:

mine would love to never wear clothes. I have yet to hear of a toddler that didn't go through a nudist phase. so far mine doesn't always bother, getting her clothes off is hard work for her still, especially onsies. but I have no doubt that bare butt time will increase as she gets older, she's only 18 months now.

He has been for sometime now. Sometimes he wears a diaper (and it's a fight) because we're on potty strike and I get tired of pee on the floor. (or worse)

It's gotten so bad that he knows we only get dressed when we're going out...and we get naked the second we walk in the door. Heaven help me if we have company over and I have him wear clothes! Oh, he's almost 20months.

It can be 65F in here and he can be fresh from a bath (read: still damp) and he'll go tearing through the house stark naked and never complain. He runs hot like DH so naked and temp hasn't been an issue.

haha my dd strips as soon as we get home from anywhere!! it cracks me up, now ds is starting it too. the other day he climbed in bed for nap time and sat there fussing with his arms up and wouldn't nurse. he wanted his shirt off first!! stinker

DS would be naked outdoors in the winter if he could!  I can't blame him though.  He too runs warm just like his Papa.

Goodness yes. Yesterday we were playing at a friend's house with 5 little people, who are all potty training. Cute little tushies as far as the eye could see!

DS is a crossdressing nudist. He's either naked or wearing girls clothes (because boy clothes are "yucky!" and don't have flowers or sparkles or pink or skirts on them).

Yup.  Now that it's colder DD will occasionally wear a shirt and maybe some baby legs, but not often.

This is a recent conversation DD and I had in the stall of the restroom at Chick-fil-a.  She wanted to strip after going potty like she does at home.

me: We have to wear clothes in public.

DD dis not Publix (name of a grocery store)

me: no, it's not Publix.  Public means, around other people, not at home.  We have to wear clothes in public.

DD: looks suspicious, like I'm trying to pull a fast one on her

Both of my kids are nudists! 4 yrs old and 20m! I have no problems with it unless we're at someone else's house.

My DD prefers to run around naked.  It started when potty training, although she would often run around in just a diaper if I let her when tiny.  It's getting a little better as she has started developing a preference for certain shirts and pants.  If I let her pick out her clothes it seems to help her be open to keeping them on!

Totally!  She only wears clothes someplace else, and she's 36 months.  We started it mostly last winter when we were potty training and just let her run aroundnaked.  Mostly I'm concerned about her girly bits getting dirty and/or uncomfortable.

Out of 5 children, I have 1 that kept his clothes on and did not go through a nudist phase.
