ring worm

Hey all. My dr thinks i have ring worm. It is on my breasts. I am a breastfeeding momma. DS is 6m. Dr. Hale hasn't reviewed Travogen, probably because you don't have it in the states. I am feeling uncomfortable putting something like this so close to where he eats. Does anyone have any suggesions? I've been thinking a tea tree oil bath, but then I'm worried about that being around where the baby eats. Do you think I can put the cream and or the oil on my breasts without any danger to the baby? thanks all.

Tea tree has never worked as an antifungal for me. I have used otc antifungals (for atheletes foot) with great success.  I would say if it's not right on your nipples you're ok.  Maybe give baby some yogurt or a probiotic capsule just in case he gets a little in.  You can spread the ringworm to him too, so look out for rashiness, I spread my athelet'es foot to my son as ringworm when he was a few months old.  Don't scratch, keep your hands washed.
