I'm probably going to be spending a lot of time in this section, so thought I would introduce myself here.
I'm an Army wife and mom and we're currently stationed at Fort Polk, LA. We're renting 4 acres right now and have Nigerian dwarf goats for milk.
I'm planning on getting chickens and other poultry next spring, and possibly bees and sheep. Also getting ready for an awesome gardening season. Technically, I can start now, the climate here is pretty mild, but I'm going to wait until I have a definite place where our son and cat can't get to my seeds!
So yeah, glad to have found this forum and hope to make some friends!
