So I'm still nursing my 16-mo baby though he's my second, so I've actually been nursing for almost the last four years non stop. I woke up this morning with intense pain in my breast on the lower half of my right side. I don't have a fever or anything, but the pain of touching it or even the pain of it moving while I walk around the house feels pretty severe. Is this a clogged duct? Am I on my way to mastitis? Do I need to go see a doctor? Could it be something else? We're supposed to go out to a museum in the city today with my inlaws and I'm wondering if I should cancel or if I should just take an Ibuprofen and deal with it when we get back. I did nurse ds on that side a little bit ago, but he fell asleep and dh put him in the car so we could leave. I also pumped on that side but since I never pump I only got less than an once. Any ideas or advice is welcome.
