Tights for slender little girls

My daughter is 5 and wears a slim in jeans.  She likes to wear tights with her dresses but the tights always seem to fall down on her and the crotch is about at her knees half the time.  I buy the size 4 - 6x because as far as height and weight, she's right in the middle of that range.  But she's always hiking them up and it's getting annoying for her. 

Anyone found a good brand of tights that fit well and stay up and would work for a slender girl?  Thanks!

I'm subbing to this thread, because we have the same problem... also combined with tights that rip after one or two uses... what tights would fit and are thick or good enough to last a bit longer.....

We've bought them from H&M and they're ok for super tall and skinny dd.

[What Next?]

Dd (also slender, and wears tights every single day) wears primarily LLBean and Lands End.  We've been happy with both, though I think all tights involve regular adjustment.  We've been focusing on going to a private space (like the bathroom) for any required adjustments.  We've been working on it for 4 years.  I can't wait until modesty kicks in!

LLBean seem a little thicker, but both brands usually last at least 2 winters, and often have some wear left for the younger cousin.  Where we are, the thick tights come out in October and stay out until about April, so these tights see LOTS of wear and washing.  I balked at the price when dd was small, until I learned that big box store tights only last 2 months (if we're lucky).

2 months at $4 each = not a good value

12+ months at $9 each = good value

LLB or LE on clearance = GREAT value!  Look for online coupons for free shipping too.

I had this problem as a child.  My mom would have me wear two pairs of underwear - one over and one under the tights.  It helped them stay up quite nicely!

This is what my mom did with me and my sister too!  We would also wear bicycle shorts over our tights sometimes.  Worked like a charm :)

We got some H&M tights and they are great!  I balked a little at the price but it is true you get what you pay for and it's more economical to buy tights that cost a little more but will be worn more than once.   The big thing is they won't drive my child nuts during the day and they're comfortable for her.
