Starting a new bottle of enzymes (same brand and same dosage) causing new die off?

ds has been taking digest gold for a few months now.  I started a new bottle (1 week ago today)  but did not up his dosage and I am sure it is the same ingredients as the other bottle.  He is crazy again... tantrums, itching, poop slowed down, BAD sleep. This started creeping on mid week and has really reached a peak (I hope) today.   I am wondering if maybe the other bottle had lost some of its effectiveness.  The bottle lasted a long time because he only takes 1/2 capsule per day.  Maybe the new bottle is more potent and caused a die off reaction?  This is how his die off has looked in the past.  I just don't want to walk down the line of finding another food sensitivity if I don't have to.  Thanks for any input..

bumped... where is everyone (maybe buried in chat!)...  I can't believe no one can give me opinions on this.  any input is appreciated.  he did not sleep well again last night and already had 2 tantrums.   jen

Yes, I would say it is possible! Also, check the bottle again as Enzymedica has come out with a few new formulas and perhaps it has been reformulated. Got mag and vit c? Epsom salt baths? I, too, am always reluctant to look towards a new reaction with out more proof.

thanks for the reply.  I did compare the bottles and they have the same ingredients.  I have increased his mag and vit c.  I have the epsom salt and had forgotten about that option.  Since he has been sleeping now for 2 hours (it is currently 6:30pm) he will be up late tonight.  We can do an epsom salt bath tonight after the girls are asleep.  I would not normally let him nap so long so late in the day but we all honestly needed a break from him for awhile.  He did seem a bit more reasonable today so I am hoping this passes quickly.  Thanks for the reminder on the epsom salt.
