DSM-5

Is there a final word about SPD and the DSM-5?  I know that it won't be published until 2013, and I know they have stopped accepting comments.  I have read about other changes that will come with the DSM-5, but I can't seem to find whether they accepted SPD or not.  Does anyone here know more?

I don't, but I'll be watching this thread!

The initial decision was "No," because the committee thinks more research is necessary, but they accepted more comments from the public. SPD is still on the short-list of disorders nominated by outside agencies, so I believe it's still  formally under consideration.

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think any diagnostic criteria for SPD were given out for use during the field testing of the new criteria.
