Those times sound about right for the Summertime, with mostly exposed (nearly naked) skin, but not enough for Winter time. The more I read the more it's apparent that the UVB rays necessary to make vit D don't even really reach us in the Winter, when the sun is just too far away.....

By the way, I believe fortified cow's milk has 100 IUs on Vit D per 8 ounces. Measly.
