Eczema and food allergy toddler - Help needed

Apologize for the long post - any help is greatly appreciated.

A bit of history about my 21 month old DS -

=>  has suffered from severe eczema from when he was a month old. I went on a hypo-allergenic diet starting 3 months and noticed barely any improvement. Tried Homeopathy for 6 months with no improvement infact made it so severe (thot that it's healing crisis) but it never improved.

=> At 8 months , we discovered he had multiple food allergies (milk, wheat, soy, eggs, nuts, lentils, coconut, sesame, mustard, also rice and corn to a lesser degree) ) and weaned him off slowly from breastmilk to Neocate. At 11 months he was completely weaned from breastmilk to Neocate but the rash never cleared up. We had to use Triamcinolone twice a day and Zyrtec/Atarax twice a day until 15 months

=>  we went to India (humid climate) for 3 months, skin improved considerably but still reacted to allergic foods the same way.  We realized even on a diet with just Neocate his rash never went away and realized he could be allergic to Neocate itself (although our allergist kept denying it whenever we suggested it in the past) So, we slowly stopped Neocate and some of the characteristic blister like rash on his lower legs went away.

=> While in India tried Ayurveda which has helped a little with itching and helped us avoid antibiotics for cold/fever etc but still DS has severe rash and we are unable to introduce any new foods. We tried Elecare and it causes the same type of rash as Neocate. We are at a loss for a milk substitute.

He doesn't eat much now except rice and veggies and Nutritionist says we need to find a formula fast even if he starts some meat like lamb.

I read in a forum that Alimentum RTF would work where elemental formulas fail as it is corn free. I've also read the DHA/ARA could be a problem as well.

Does anyone have any input on Alimentum and if helped improve eczema while Neocate/Elecare failed?

Also, any input on NAET (acupressue/acupuncture) and it's effect on infant/toddler eczema?

HELP please....

Hi, I am also dealing with allergies with my LO. He is 5 mo. old now,
we just found out he is allergic to dairy. He was EBF, until 2 weeks
ago, when the drs. switched him over to Neocate. He also has had
severe eczema all over his body since 2 1/2 mo. old. We started
treated the eczema with a hydrocortisone for his head/face and
Triamcinolone for his body twice a day, which we started the same time
as the Neocate. It worked at clearing up his skin completely the first
week, but now he is breaking out in a  blister/pimple like rash on his
body and the eczema is back on his face again. I'm wondering if he
could be allergic to the corn in Neocate a well, but his GI completely
dismissed my concern and said there's no way he could be allergic to
Neocate, but I'm not convinced and I would also like to try the
Similac Alimentum RTF since it is corn free.

One thing I just started doing is giving him infant probiotics, as
this will help strengthen his immune system and help heal his gut
issues and also, infant vitamin d drops. I've read his skin issues can
also be from a lack of Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids. A deficiency
of these - particularly Omega 6 - is believed to contribute to eczema.
Since your son is old enough to eat solids, maybe try looking into
adding flax seed into his diet, as well as the probiotics.

As for the NAET, I myself have had NAET treatments for allergies in
which I believe it did play a part in getting over my allergies. I've
have read stories, that it helps tremendously with young children with
allergies. Now that I know my LO has an allergy, I'm definitely going
to look into NAET treatments for him also.

Hope some of this may help. I know it is very frustrating dealing with
eczema/rashes and I truly believe that it is a condition that needs to
heal from the inside out.

My dd has severe eczema and we have finally cleared it up. I found out she has a birch pollen allergy, which includes the following foods: almonds, apples, apricots, avocados, bananas,[11]carrots, celery, cherries, chicory,[12]coriander, fennel, fig,[13] hazelnuts, kiwifruit, nectarines, parsley, parsnips, peaches, pears, peppers, plums, potatoes, prunes, soy, strawberries, wheat; Potential:walnuts
She can't have soy of any kind, and if she has food that was made in the same facility or on the same equipment, she breaks out. Luckily, we found Enjoy Life Foods has a chocolate bar w/out soy. : )
I tried all of the prescriptions/creams etc... Nothing worked until I cut out ALL of these foods. Oh, it looks like Neocate has soy in its ingredients.
