Need a Laminator? SALE on Amazon!

I hope it's OK to post this here.

Amazon has this Scotch Thermal Laminator on sale!

I was just really excited to see this!  I have this laminator and my mom has been eyeing, so I snagged one for her for $16.99, with free shipping if you have Prime.  I really love and have found useful to homeschool with.

Hope this helps someone!

Thanks for posting this. I just bought one. I called my mom and she got one too. I'm about to post on our local homeschooling websites. I've looked longingly at these when I've missed the sales before so I'm glad to get this now.

Timing is perfect. The last thread I read was about making handwriting worksheets and covering with contact paper. My son will love to be involved with doing this.

That is the one I have.  I just wish the refills werent so dang expensive but I love it.  I am on my 2nd one.  I buy the workbooks and laminate them and then we use dry erase crayons on them rather than making copies of everything

I'm so glad someone was able to take advantage of this offer!!!

I'm giving this a quick bump because, while the laminator isn't $16.99 anymore, it's still on sale for $19.99.  Which is AWESOME!!  smile.gif

What would you use it for other than worksheets, I need the paper worksheets for our records. We tried handwriting on a laminated page once and it was awful because the page and marker combo was too slippery.

Flash cards, make-your-own puzzles, making little dolls/monsters/people that can hold up to play for more than an hour or two, making photographs more durable, etc. Just a few ideas off the top of my head. :D

Laminators are still on sale, in case anyone was wondering or still needed one.  LOL

We had my son's birthday party yesterday (his birthday is on Christmas.) I made placemats for all the children attending the party. I had (or had the parents send) photos of each child. I printed them on regular paper then laminated them. They were beautiful, especially as a group. The kids absolutely loved them and they were terrific party favors. I am so glad I had the laminator for that project.

I got it for my DH for Christmas (IIRC it was the same price!) because he saves all of his receipts (well, the majority of them!) and they tend to fade and get crumpled over time.  He hasn't tried it yet but I'm glad to hear the reviews that say it worked well!
