Considering U/C

Hello, everyone.  I'm new to the forum.  I am 17 weeks pregnant with my 4th child.  My first three were born in hospitals and I will definitely be having this baby at home!  I am considering u/c for two reasons.  One is because I cannot afford to hire a midwife as my insurance will only cover a small percentage.  The second reason is because I want as few people as possible attending my birth.  I would like to know if anyone on this forum as any advice for me.  Also, I am concerned about how to go about getting a birth certificate once the baby is born.  I live in Frederick County, MD if that helps.
Thanks!

Before they changed the forum around to a new program, I could have told you where to look for info on UCing, but I'm not sure where the thread is. There's a master thread with lot of UC info and a big thread with how to get a birth certificate if you UC according to state. Hmmm...

I found the thread...

But it doesn't appear anyone answered the ladies asking about Maryland. But, maybe those ladies have figured it out now so you could try PMing them.

OK, I found the info thread I was thinking of too...  I hope someone decides to sticky those 2 thread again, they were handy...
