Birth Certificates for Maryland UC

Does anyone know how to obtain a birth certificate in Frederick County, MD for a baby born to a UC?

You might try calling vital statistics for your area and anonymously ask them how to obtain a birth certificate if you give birth at home unattended. They absolutely don't have to know your name unless you want to try to get the info before the birth. I called before my last birth as I intended to UC in Minnesota and they were friendly thankfully and sent me an out of hospital birth packet. 

This time I am thinking I'll wait until after baby is already here though so that I don't have to worry about anyone getting involved hopefully. Or, I might call pretending baby is already here so they don't attempt to say anything about it. I'll wait until 2011 though to get the most up to date birth forms.
