What would you do?

I have a history of infertility.  My first was conceived with no intervention but it did take a while, and then my second took 18 cycles to conceive, even when I was charting and using clomid.  I have not had my first pp af yet, but in the meantime we are not using any birth control.  I have many issues with the various types, had horrible results with the hormonal types, and I am sensitive to latex and propylene glycol which is in many condoms.  We were using Pull and Pray in between our two children as our method, but now that we have not done that in years it seems kind of a drag to me now.

So my question is this.....would you consider me infertile enough to not even bother with bc?  If we had a third I would be ok with it but I know dh prefers to be done having children.

btw I'm 36 years old.

Um, no, I would not consider you infertile enough to not bother.  :)  And this is mostly going on my own experience.

2 live children, 8 miscarriages later, a severe case of pelvic inflammatory disease, a luteal defect (or whatever you call it), low progesterone, and I spontaneously and surprisingly got pregnant and had no issues until end of 2nd tri (preterm labor).

There isn't any way to know, you might never get pregnant again, or it might happen the first cycle.  Unless you both want another baby, I would at least chart and avoid likely days.  We were successful with this technique for 3.5 years.  After the 3rd baby I got my tubes tied.

Never presume because it took so long in previous pregnancies that it will be the same currently. Pregnancy sort of resets the body so some women that have had problems previously can go on to conceive quickly - and vice vesa...secondary fertility results when women conceive fine first time but then after pregnancy go on to have difficulties.
There are lots of options for NFP (especially on this site!) If your hubby is not on board with another baby for sure I would add, charting your cycles to your "pull and pray". A good book, is Taking Charge of Your Fertility and my fave online charting system is fertilityfriend.com (they have a tutorial on charting as well). Good luck!
