my little girl is 11 weeks old and has trisomy 21. Her PT, OT & IT were here today and made a lot of remarks that validated my non-mainstream parenting choices and I just wanted to share with some people who might actually understand! For example, they were impressed with how well she can lie on her side without assistance and attributed it to the practice she gets while nursing, especially in bed with me. We also talked about the benefits of baby wearing as a form of "during daily life" therapy. It was just nice to know that the choices I'm making are good for Hattie, ya know?
