My son hated bathing until I bathed with him!!! You might want to try getting in the tub with your little one.

I've definitely bathed with her. She still doesn't like it. Hopefully she will grow out of it. Otherwise, I guess we will continue just taking showers.

I would try the Flip stay dry pads.  They are incredible.  I must say that most the time the diaper is full and I can touch the top and not even tell that it is wet.  For longer stretched I just add a doubler.  I know that cotton babies now has infant flip inserts for really young babies.  I would try that and see if it helps.
