biglaugh.gifchopped pepperoni.  that is funny- I insisted on mini kosher dill pickles instead of slices, wedges, or whole ones.  I just needed the mini ones.

this week, it has been bagels with cream cheese and lox. and wouldn't you know it, i went to town to buy bagels, and our local bagel shop is closed for the holidays, so there are no bagels in our county. Really. angry.gif I mean, what are the odds?!!

I got those pickles too! Very convenient.

Had jalapeno poppers last night. Went to a friend's and they knew I'd been having wicked popper cravings, so they provided the poppers.

I brought artichoke/jalapeno dip.

Off the spicy stuff for a bit though because as DH said so sweetly earlier..i really "blew it up" in the bathroom. blush.gif

Spicy mustard and oranges. What, you don't eat those together?  You've never had that? Well sorry about your luck cause I totally ate that for breakfast this morning.

ETA: There's no shame in my game. :P

Okay, this is horrible, and it's a good thing I have no way to obtain this. I really want ... institutional chicken nuggets. Like, the kind we would buy at school lunches when nugget were first gaining popularity. The breading was never crispy, but something about the the texture and flavor of those is calling to me very strongly right now. I imagine this won't have the popper effect on the rest of the DDC. winky.gif

I should mention that my breakfast this morning is chopped green olives swirled into plain Greek yogurt. What?

My friend, who is NOT pregnant, texted me today because she has eaten 3 bags of trader joes cole slaw in 2 days, and was eating spaghetti with marinara with plain yogurt mixed in.    Hmm.  I told her to consider immaculate conception.  haha

had to have homemade mac and cheese last night, but then had a terrible tummy ache all night, from overeating? ugh.

Guess what I'm having for breakfast this morning? ...It rhymes with "hoppers." whistling.gif

biglaugh.gifTwo things for me: I just ate an obscene amount of dried cranberries, for some reason.. and I was about to eat some toast, had an entire loaf of bread in my hand, the phone rang so I answered it, and now POOF!  The bread is gone.  I looked everywhere.  I bet it is somewhere stupid like in the dishwasher.

Have you ladies tried these jalapeno snacks from The Pioneer Woman?  They are to die for!  Bacon, jalapenos, and cream cheese?  Yes, please!

The only thing I'm craving is tropical punch kool-aid.  Oh, and lemonade.  And those really big Sweet-Tarts that are chewy.  Yum!  I simply cannot let myself have any of them though because I need to watch my sugars.  Totally sucks.  I can't stomach meat right now either unless it's bacon.  This is going to be a rough pregnancy.

The jalapeno popper craze made me laugh!  Strangely, I have no desire for spicy foods.

I have been craving orange as well.  I've had a clementine almost every day.  I love Sonic's orange cream slushes!  Oh man, I want one now!

Fried ice cream from a particular restaurant that is closed.  This is really frustrating as I have sampled a couple other fried ice creams that just don't compare!!!

Sweet and salty over and over... such as kalamata olives and honey.  Not together, but directly after each other!  So good!

My mouth is watering like crazy about those sweet tarts!  I love those.  I craved sour stuff when I was pregnant with DD.  Lemon and lime on everything and I drank about 2 gallons of lemonade when i was in labor with her.  This time I have been drinking strawberry kool aid like crazy.  Better than soda, maybe.. or maybe not.

I am eating lentil soup with saltines and it is 7:45am.  That is odd for me.  But I am also on a yogurt kick.. at least 2 servings a day, stonyfield farm organic whole milk french vanilla with homemade granola.  It is usually my mid-morning and late night snack.

hahaha That's funny!  I've been in search of some that are actually spicy and the right amount of cheesy but somehow I'm disappointed everytime.  Maybe there are some good ones in the freezer section?

The chewy Sweet Tarts are totally on my radar!  I saw some of the non-chewy ones a few days ago but they just aren't the same so I didn't get them (although I did get a roll of Spree and they were surprisingly delicious!).

I might have already said this, but I'm still craving Stewart's Orange Cream Soda like crazy.  It's soooo good.  Thank goodness it's over a dollar a bottle or I'd drink a gallon of it a day, seriously.  I tried an orange slush from Sonic and it tasted funny, and tried another (cheaper) brand of orange cream soda and it tasted like a swimming pool.  DH things I'm nuts.  ROTFLMAO.gif

I just typed in on another post, and I just needed to share.  And then eat it.

Pickled okra.  It's flipping *amazing*.  I think i could eat the whole jar.  And then drink the juice.

guess who HAS to have chewy sweetarts tomm? yummy.gif

this lemonade popsicle just isn't doin it. cold.gif

tourist: I've got an Orange Crush craving going on. I'm glad Stewart's cream soda is hard to find around my area or I'd probably be drinking that instead. At least Crush is pretty cheap smile.gif I normally hate the stuff and have already finished off a 6 pack of 710 ml bottles eyesroll.gif

I totally had the chewy Sweetarts the other day.  I also had a red Gatorade that day, which took away my desire for tropical punch Kool-aid.  I passed my 3 hour GTT too.  Woohoo!

My newest craving is French dip sandwiches with au jus.  I've been craving it ALL DAY.  Before that was shredded chicken tacos (chicken in the crockpot with salsa and spices, cook for a couple hours, shred it, and put it on top of corn tortillas fried in bacon grease and top with cheddar cheese).  We had that for dinner two nights ago and I'm making it again today.  LOL.

does anyone know if the chewy sweet tarts have gelatin in them?  We are vegetarian and I won't get any if they have gelatin... but I REALLY want some.  Or sour patch kids or something.  My mouth is watering like a freaking faucet right now.

I am on a big toast kick.  I eat 4 slices if the bread is store-bought and 2 if it is homemade (the bread I make is very filling).   With butter.  Hellooooo carbs!

Unsure if they have gelatin. Would tell you if I could've FOUND some today. splat.gif The local convenience store had none..I settled for starburst and sour straws..but the craving hasn't been curbed.

Attempt #2 tommorow, If I find them i'll let you know re:gelatin content.
