We need to get a second car seat for DD who is 18mo. Â It will go in a relative's mini van and occasionally, our vehicles. Â Her current seat is a Britax Advocate. Â I have heard good things about the True Fit and also the Complete Air. . . Â I need ease of installation and ERF capabilities. Any recs or input on these two options?Â

What is your budget?
Â
You could do a Scenera. Most likely it'll last you to around 3 rfing unless your kiddo has a super long torso. And at right around $50 it's really budget friendly.
Â
I own a CA and LOVE it. You'll get more rfing time out of it then your britax. For easier installation, get the one with the base.Â
I don't have a strict budget for this purchase, but it is a factor in my decision. Ease of installation RF is a big plus since this seat will have to be moved. Â
Â
The CA has a base? Â Like an infant seat? Â I was hoping to compare models on their site, but couldn't find that option. Â
Â
Is there a good post comparing CA models or comparing CA to Truefit?
Â
Thanks!

No, not like an infant seat. Just a base to adjust the recline (like your britax has). The LX has the base to adjust recline. The other models don't (mine doesn't, and I personally don't find it ahrd to install).

i don't like the locking clips of the tf, but do get a solid fit. Â one could do latch if you have it.. Â i do agree, a seat with a recline at the base (which the tf has) makes it easier to get a good angle.
Â
i have a tf with the rebound bar and don't have too much of an issue adjusting the straps. Â i think those without thr bar do.
